Personal Training

Personal training for physical finess became very popular in the 80's, mostly for physical fitness. I believe that the relevance of a trend is directly related to our self awareness and perception of need. Personally, i was in my 20s in the 80s and an avid dancer, i was sure i had no need for fitness. By the 1990s, life coaching emerged and soon became popular, i was 32, had a successful career and single, i was sure i had no need for personal life training. By age 49, i became a certified life coach, 11 years after i had graduated with a doctor in clinical psychology degree. By then, i was just divorced and had 2 sons (10 and 13). Surely, this time, i saw the need for life coaching in my life.

They say that " beauty is in the eye of the beholder", i say so is the need for personal support, planning and growth. It is never too early to seek guidance, in spite of our opinion. Personal training gives us the private and focused opportunity to care for ourselves and our goals. At any life juncture, we will benefit from building a strong personal and professional foundation to make headway on our goals. i think self awareness is key to stay the course in life, the good news is that it can be learned anytime. I finally caught up.
